MUNNY toys by KidRobot, are a white "do it yourself" vinyl toy whose purpose is to allow the owner to completely customise his / her own MUNNY. Encouraging, provoking, and promoting creativity among designs, Designer toys are becoming increasingly popular in the urban art scene, creating an International subculture and sparking collaborations and competitions worldwide.

I stumbled across a KidRobot Japan competition held by MoMA Designshop in Omote-Sando in 2009. Unfortunately I missed the cut-off date for that comp, but it did inspire me to buy one myself, and the very next year in the 2010 competition, "Mini Me" won 2nd place, 10,000yen and a BUNNY by KidRobot vinyl toy.

Complete with paint splattered hands, hairy chest, baggy jeans, hazel eyes, and all tattoos....'Mini Me' by Random
